Do you have what it takes to be the second ever "Flair Bartenders Shakedown Working Flair Champion"? We welcome back the Flair Bartenders Shakedown, the first Flair bartending competition based entirely around Working Flair with familiar sponsors this year... Blue Martini, SKYY Vodka, Finest Call, Midori, X-Rated, Bar Products, Spill-Stop, Flairco, Rock&Record, the FBA, Flairbar.com and BarWars LLC. For the first qualifier of the second running we saw some of Florida's finest battling it out behind the Flairco Portable Bar. Again at Blue Martini, West Palm Beach, Florida in front of a standing room only crowd all cheering for their favorite Flair bartender to make the finals. In the end, the scores were tallied and the final results were...

1st Place

Rodrigo Delpech finishing in first place this month with a strong showing of Argentinean Flair style.

Rodrigo was last years Grand Working Flair Champion and returned again on the first month of competition to qualify. With only a week before Legends he showed his confidence in his routine and took home top honors that night.

With some silky smooth working Flair and very few deductions Rodrigo showed the crowd and more importantly the judges why he won this event last year. Click on Rodrigo's picture to the right to see a highlight of his round.

2nd Place

Cesar Romero finished in second place this month and also qualifies to come back on the finals. Cesar who was also featured in Flairbar.com's February "Masterclass" was on a roll and had one of the best routines I had seen from him to date.

Cesar looked calm and confident behind the Flairco Portable Bar as he displayed a fun and clean round riddled with new and original moves. Great job Cesar and we are all proud of you!

Also rounding out third place this month was Eric Moon. The Finest Call stall played a key factor in that. Looking forward to what you do with it next time. Good luck and welcome back...

This months honorable mention goes to Drew Bryant who represented Miami proudly with his cut off Superman shirt which brought back myself and some of the judges to the days of Jason Tremper... and Mauro Garrido who put on a show stopping demo of Flair skill that he was prepping for at Legends the following week. Great job guys!

The results are in... 1st place... Rodrigo Delpech, 2nd place Cesar Romero, 3rd place Eric Moon, forth place Drew Bryant and demo by Mauro Garrido.

A special thanks to all the competitors, judges, staff, Blue Martini and supporters who made this event a success. We will see you next month, where the drink list changes along with two new finalists.

Doors open at 8:00 pm, Competition starts at 9:00 pm.
