JD Spradlin has been apart of the Flair bartending family since the early days when the “Quest For The Best Bartender” show first introduced Flair bartending to the world. This comp is now recognized as the “Granddaddy of all Flair competitions”. That was in 1992 at Disney’s Mannequins Dance Palace, Pleasure Island - Orlando, Florida. History knows that the epicenter of what we know as “Flair Bartending” moved west to Las Vegas in 2002. JD was once again there (with the microphone in hand) when the first “Legends of Bartending” debuted that same year, and is proud to have hosted all but one of these prestigious showcases to date.

Other than the two biggest competitions in the world, there have been a few others along the way: JD has been called upon on to host a couple of "Nations Flair Challenges" but, on a yearly schedule starting in 1998, his favorite (hands down) has been the “Flairbar.com Bartender’s Bash” held each year at Holiday Isle - Islamorada, Florida in the Florida Keys. Along the way, JD has been apart of the TGI Friday’s team for numerous regional and divisional staging competitions, as well as hosting four “TGI Friday’s World Finals”. It is this history that has earned JD the title of “The Original Voice Of Flair”. Today, JD voices a live radio program on Jimmy Buffett’s Radio Margaritaville as heard on Sirius XM Satellite Radio.
