BarWars has been a break out competition for many Flair Bartenders. It combines speed and accuracy into one round. As well as Flair, specialty and mixology into another round.

And for fun, there are no deductions for spills, breaks or drops for the last minute of you're finals routine. This takes some of the stress off the competitors and really lets them showcase their raw talents.

Every year there seems to be a new up and coming Flair Bartender who makes a name for themselves with the help of this competition. BarWars IV was no exception. Minnesota brought us Paul Trzcianko. Who blew everybody away with his smoothness and from the UK was Collin Griffiths, Who came out of nowhere with some amazing original moves. Not to mention all of the other personal accomplishments of the other Flair Bartenders. There was a comrodery shared by all the Bartenders and everyone cheered each other on.

BarWars IV Grand champion was Daniel Rossi. Daniel had the fastest speed round and a solid Flair / Specialty round that he made look like child's play. His extreme confidence in himself showed as he held a strong presence behind the Bar.

Taking a very close second place and all the way from Argentina was Adriano Marcellino. Adriano had the crowd and more importantly the judges on there feet with his two tins and a Stoli banner routine. Then if that wasn't enough he displayed some wicked three and four bottle patterns that had me staring in aw.

Taking third place and a previous Grand champion of BarWars III was Levi "The Great White Hope" Donaldson.

Levi had one of the best Specialty drinks, combined with some original and difficult moves insured him a strong finish.

This years Speed / Accuracy round was meant to be difficult, and difficult it was. With most of the competitors scoring low points in this riddle of a round. The Speed / Accuracy round weighed heavily on the final results.

Big Thanks goes out to Benny Townsend and the staff at Benny's Icehouse for hosting the event. All my Judges, Brian Loukmas, Luis "Iceman" Herrera, Garret Hagen, Jester Smith, Aj Gruening and Travis Tober. Also to Tim Black, Bill Hinkebine, Greg Goldberg, Dennis Travarca, Jordan Mednick, Jenn Durant, Alan Parsons, Philly B, Ben Rose, Jay Cole, Craig Lombardo, Cantina Bar Products, Sum Poosie, Bob Husted and all the competitors and fans who came out to support this yearly event and helping making it one of the largest Flair Bartending competitions in Florida. Thank You!

With all of that said, Congratulations to all the competitors and BarWars V proves to be even bigger with more surprises. Who will be the next Bartender Jedi... Could it be you?
