Jeff Sirninger is cocktail enthusiast and Director of Education and Membership in the USBG Palm Beach Chapter where he applies his years of training in academics as a professor and researcher to help rediscover our lost cocktail culture heritage, frame it in a modern context, and teach it to new generations of knowledge hungry bartenders.

His professional credentials include a BS from Colorado State University with majors in Biochemistry and Microbiology and minors in Chemistry and Psychology, a MS from Yale University in Cell Biology, a DVM from Colorado State School of Veterinary Medicine, a residency with board certification (ACVP, clinical pathology) at the of University of Florida School of Veterinary Medicine, a Ph.D. at the Powell Gene Therapy Center at the University of Florida focused on the design and testing of gene therapeutics for Cystic Fibrosis, an Assistant Professorship at the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine, and establishment of a private veterinary clinical pathology consultation, Sirninger Cytologic Diagnostics. His cocktail-related credentials involve active participation in competitive mixology events, and previously living in New Orleans, which is an education in drinking every night of the week.
