Erin Davey -- Tampa Bay mixologist with over 10 years in the industry, including internationally -- has become a fixture in the area as a go-to for cocktail creation. As the Director of Education and Head Bartender for Mandarin Hide, Erin has been responsible for some of the most inventive and visually stunning cocktails in the area. She was recently recognized for her skills this year as a finalist for Diageo's World Class Bartender competition, one of fifteen in her region out of over 1000 applicants.

The creator and head of Mandarin Hide's 'Tuesday Test Kitchen' program which features new spirits, cocktails, cutting edge techniques, and flavor combinations, she is often sought by local media, including the Pulitzer Prize winning Tampa Bay Times, as an authority of cocktail culture.

Erin is very active in her local United States Bartender's Guild Chapter, which is ranked as the 8th largest out of over 70 nationwide. As a member of the council she is an integral part of all aspects, including Tampa's Repeal Day Conference in December, of which she is a co-chair. The largest celebration for Repeal Day in the US, it hosts a multitude of guests and speakers, and includes a variety of events that promote education, charity, and brand recognition to consumers and tradesmen alike.

Along with a partner, Erin has established the Tampa Bay area's first craft focused professional beverage service, Alchemie Events. She intends to continue traveling around the world, educating herself and others on cocktail culture, creation, and hospitality with the intention of bringing worldwide recognition to both the Tampa Bay area as well as herself in the art of bartending and mixology.
